Founded in 1991 and transformed into the current KongDu Construction & Engineering Ltd. after the company re-structure, the company was dedicated to quality interior fit-out & renovation works and bringing contemporary solutions to Clients. With strong enthusiasm and vitality in developing creative or novel responses to projects is key to the practice’s ethos, challenging conventional approaches to problem-solving. Our energetic project team concentrates on different natures of project development with a focus on construction management issues through architecture and interior design projects. High and low tech solutions related to energy use, greening, functionality, and maintenance define the key values. At the core of the construction process is the employment of experienced human resources to enhance a robust methodology to be adopted. Value Engineering
Value engineering to devise most cost-effective solutions to the same programmatic requirements, is a KongDu specialty. We work with Owners and Architects to help select the most practical, cost effective and attractive materials and methods Our licensed and registered architect, structural, mechanical, electrical and engineers enhance the building system evaluations.
Construction Manager & General Contractor
As a full service contractor we are both a construction manager and a general contractor. Apart from providing all of the cost, schedule and quality control one associates with construction managers, we also deliver a guaranteed maximum price contract, provide hand-on jobsite supervision to ensure quality, schedule and budget objectives are met and to manage all subcontractors. We offer specialists in mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural services, providing clients with accurate and up-to-date cost analysis throughout the project. Our material expediter actively manages the procurement of critical supplies. Maintaining a full range of in-house capabilities enables us to perform effective value engineering and ensuring best price for the critical mechanical and electrical portions of the contract.
Effective Programming
KongDu’s customers increasingly put a high premium on speed. Facilities tends to be designed and constructed faster and faster. Our structural engineers with the design team have been integrated to develop the fastest solution for bringing the structure out of the ground. We analyze material availability for delay impacts; structural details for labor availability and constructability; and building systems for pre-fabrication oppottunities. Often, project costs are lowered through speed engineering process, but the emphasis is on safe and timely completion.
